Description: Deputy Sheriff Becker and Santa Fe Railroad Special Agent Harris Woods were returning to Brownwood from Austin where they had taken a patient to a state hospital. As Agent Woods was getting in the car, his .44 caliber revolver accidentally discharged and shot Deputy Becker in the abdomen. Deputy Becker was transported to the hospital in Brownwood where he died the next day.
