Description: Officer Frederick Bauer was killed due to complications from his injuries he sustained during a police raid on a "numbers" establishment. Officer Bauer tried to lift a metal floor safe during the raid and crushed two vertebrae. He died three months later in Georgetown Hospital because of complications from the injury.
