Description: Police Officer Breitkopf was accidentally shot and killed while attempting to arrest a knife-wielding suspect. When Officer Breitkopf responded to the scene in plainclothes, he was accidentally shot by an officer who was attempting to shoot the suspect. Officer Breitkopf died at a nearby hospital. The suspect was pronounced dead at the scene. Inadvertent Fire.
