Description: Chief Baker was searching for an escaped prisoner when he was hit by a train. As Chief Baker searched for the wanted man, a passenger train was changing engines. The Chief stepped from the approaching train directly into the path of the second engine and went under the wheels of the train. His left leg was amputated and he died the next day.
