Description: Constable Baker and a posse of lawmen raided an illegal liquor still and arrested several men. As they were escorting the suspects to jail, a group of men drove by and shot at them, warning them not to come back to the area. Constable Baker swore out warrants for the men and went with two deputies to the home of the man who had shot at them. The suspect resisted arrest and a shoot-out ensued. Constable Baker and the suspect were both killed.
