Description: Sergeant Brown was attempting to arrest a man who had just shot his wife and her male friend at the Revenna train depot in Kentucky. The man who was shot returned fire but instead of hitting the spurned husband, shot Sergeant Brown instead. Sergeant Brown was taken to a local hospital where he died several hours later. Sergeant Brown's assailant died and the husband was taken into custody.
