Description: Police Officer Busch was fatally shot as he and Officer Patrick Whelan attempted to arrest a burglary suspect. The officers arrived at the scene and conducted a search of the neighborhood. Officer Busch located the suspected prowler and a gunfight ensued. Officer Busch died at the scene. Officer Whelan responded to the gunfire and shot and killed the suspect.
