Description: Sheriff Bosler offered to assist the police with a suspect who had just shot his wife and son because he was personally acquainted with the man. Sheriff Bosler entered the room to speak with the suspect and was shot immediately. The suspect was arrested. Sheriff Bosler's widow, Anna, was appointed to her husband's position to complete the remainder of his term until January of the following year.
