Description: City Marshal Brooks arrested a suspect for failure to pay a court fine which was issued six seeks earlier. As Marshal Brooks was speaking to the suspect's wife, the suspect approached him from behind, cut him across the abdomen then stabbed him in the heart. Marshal Brooks was pronounced dead at the scene. The suspect was arrested.
