Description: Deputy Marshal Bush was shot and killed while attempting to serve an arrest warrant in Polk County, Arkansas. Marshal Bush and two possemen were at the home of a suspect accused of illegally logging on government land and were met by the suspect's wife at the front door. She denied the suspect was home, but the marshals proceeded inside at which point the suspect fatally shot Marshal Bush. The possemen returned to town to notify the sheriff. The suspect died in jail awaiting his trail.
