Description: Trooper Burns was shot and killed following a high speed pursuit. When the pursuit ended the suspect exited his vehicle and opened fire with a shotgun. Trooper Burns was fatally shot in the head. The suspect was found dead the next day from a self-inflected gunshot wound.
