Description: Constable Beltzer was shot by a suspect he had placed under arrest. On the way to the county jail, Constable Beltzer stopped and went into a residence. When he emerged, the suspect shot Constable Beltzer in the head with a .45 Colt. The suspect fled and was not apprehended.
