Description: Deputy Sheriff Binnion was shot when he answered a request from a woman who asked him to persuade her son to come home. As Deputy Binnion approached the house where the man was staying, a shot was fired through the door. Deputy Binnion was shot in the abdomen. The man turned the gun on himself and committed suicide. Deputy Binnion died of his injuries four days later.
