Description: Constable Breedlove was shot when he went to a residence to serve an assault warrant to an escaped prisoner. The prisoner was lying in wait with a gun and shot Constable Breedlove as he entered the front door. Constable Breedlove died of his wounds two days later. The suspect was convicted of murder and executed in the electric chair.
