Description: Patrolman Barrett was shot through the liver and sustained serious wounds to the head, side and shoulder due to a bomb explosion. Patrolman Barrett died two days later. Patrolmen George Miller, Michael Sheehan, Timothy O?Sullivan, Nels Hansen, Thomas Redden, Timothy Flavin and Mathias Degan were also killed in this labor dispute that became known as the Haymarket Riot.
