Description: Officer Bohach was shot and killed while assisting in the arrest of a suspect who had fled the scene during a traffic stop. The suspect led officers to his home where Officer Bohach assisted in setting up a perimeter outside the house. Officer Bohach was shot and killed with a high-powered rifle while securing the area. SWAT Officers apprehended the suspect after a four hour standoff. Officer Bohach was pronounced dead at the scene. On April 14, 2003 the suspect was found guilty of first degree murder.
