Description: Police Officer Boyd was riding on the trolley when it was struck by a train at a railroad crossing. The official investigation concluded that the railroad crossing gate had malfunctioned and caused the subsequent crash. Officer Boyd was transported to the hospital and died of internal injuries five days later.
