Description: Lieutenant Brown and several other law enforcement officers were pursuing the Starr gang. The gang was riding wild throughout the territory, intimidating voters as well as elections officials and killing and stealing horses. Lieutenant Brown was stabbed by one of the gang members as he and the other officers attempted to make an arrest.
