Description: Police Officer Bastock died as a result of a work injury sustained three weeks earlier. On January 6, 2011, Officer Bastock slipped and fell on ice while questioning a reckless driver. Officer Bastock was taken to the hospital where he underwent surgery for an injury to his right knee. Three weeks later while recovering from the injury, Officer Bastock had difficulty breathing and was rushed to the hospital where he died of a pulmonary thromboemboli on February 5, 2011.
