Description: Investigating suspicious persons. Deputy Buzzell was responding to a call to remove trespassers. As he approached, one of them pointed a rifle at him. He identified himself as a lawman. The deputy drew his sidearm and a gunfight erupted. Deputy Buzzell was shot and killed. The suspect was injured and later captured.
