Description: Deputy Brown had arrested four suspects who were suspected of stealing a gasoline drum. He took the suspects, three males and one female, to the office and called the Sheriff's office in Decatur to come and pick up the suspects. While on the phone, one of the suspects drew a pistol and fatally shot Deputy Brown six times. The suspects were also responsible for the murders of Deputy Harvey Bolin, Chief Deputy Thomas Jones and Deputy Harvey Bolin.
