Description: Agent Burgos-Velez was shot and killed by gang members within blocks of the Puerto Rico Police Department. A barrage of gunfire erupted and law enforcement officers responded to the scene to find two gangs facing off. Agent Burgos-Velez was shot in the torso while attempting to disarm the suspects. He was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
