Description: Sergeant Brown and more than 60 police officers from three jurisdictions responded to a fight which became a riot at a basketball game at a local high school. Officers stopped several fights which resulted in more than 20 arrests. After the riot was quelled, Sergeant Brown was en route to the station when he suffered a heart attack and struck a telephone pole. Sergeant Brown was transported to a local hospital where he died shortly after arrival.
