Description: Deputy Blair was shot when he responded to dispute between a wife and her intoxicated husband. Deputy Blair was shot in the chest with an AK-47 assault rifle as he entered the apartment. Although Deputy Blair was wearing his protective vest, the bullet pierced the chest panel.
