Description: Deputy Burgess arrested a man for public intoxication and escorted him to jail. On the way to the jail, they passed the suspect's house. The man fought with Deputy Burgess and attempted to get inside the house. Deputy Burgess struggled with the suspect and struck him several times with his billy club. Deputy Burgess then suffered a heart attack and died at the scene.
