Description: Deputy Sheriff Bonfanti and Deputy Sheriff Jimmy Gifford were responding to a family disturbance call. Deputy Bonfanti lost control of the patrol car and veered off the highway. The cruiser rolled over and hit a tree. Deputy Bonfanti was taken to a local hospital where she died two hours later. Deputy Gifford was treated and released.
