Description: Officer Boynton was responding to an accident with injuries when he swerved his patrol car to miss a dog. His cruiser slammed into a tree, leaving Officer Boynton pinned in the wreckage for an hour. He was flown by helicopter to a local hospital where he died of his injuries.
