Description: Officer Barwick and his partner, Officer Jenna Christian, were in pursuit of a stolen vehicle, when a minivan failed to yield to the police cruiser causing a fatal accident. The police cruiser went airborne and landed in a vacant lot and burst into flames. One of the trapped officers hit the panic button inside the patrol cruiser alerting emergency officials. Both officers were transported to a local hospital where Officer Barwick succumbed to his injuries.
