Description: Correctional Officer Bostic-Jones was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver while crossing the street to enter the county jail. Officer Bostic-Jones was in full uniform as she crossed the street to attend roll call. A second vehicle struck Officer Bostic-Jones and called for medical assistance. Officer Bostic-Jones died at a nearby hospital. The suspect was apprehended and charged with reckless homicide.
