Description: Patrolman Barr was struck by a hit-and-run driver when he exited his patrol car to investigate a traffic violation. Patrolman Barr was transported to the hospital where he died shortly after. The driver turned himself in and was charged with manslaughter, reckless driving and leaving the scene of an accident.
