Description: Deputy Sheriff Beaver and his fellow officers set out to capture two notorious bank/train robbers. The sheriff's department had received information that the two bandits were hiding out at a local residence. As officers approached a barn Deputy Beaver saw two suspects fleeing the area. When he commanded them to "halt," suspects shot him several times. Deputy Beaver was able to return fire but died later that day from his injuries.
