Description: Deputy Billings was shot and killed while working an off-duty security job at a car dealership on North Federal Highway. A suspect attempting to steal a late model Cadillac shot Deputy Billings in the head as he sat in his unmarked patrol car. Deputy Billings was in uniform when the incident occurred. Deputy Billings was taken to the North Broward Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries three hours later.
