Description: Detective Beane was killed in an automobile accident while en route to a tactical training conference at the Caddo Sheriff's Training Academy in a department SUV. A tractor trailer failed to yield the right of way, pulled into the roadway, and Detective Beane's SUV struck the truck. Detective Beane died at the scene of the accident. Three other deputies suffered injuries in the crash, but recovered.
