Description: Sergeant Barlow was the police supervisor for Memorial Stadium on opening day for the Baltimore Orioles. During the course of the day he engaged in a number of stressful activities, including carrying a stroke victim from her seat to paramedics; climbing stairs throughout the stadium in search of missing children; and helping medical personnel carry an 84-year-old woman the length of five sections on a stretcher. Sergeant Barlow suffered a fatal heart attack approximately one hour after he went off duty that day.
