Description: Special Officer Burton was ambushed and shot as he patrolled the Santa Fe rail yard in San Bernardino, California. Despite being mortally wounded, Officer Burton returned fire and wounded his attacker. Officer Burton died at the scene. A suspect was taken into custody.
