Description: Constable Becker and Marshal Miller answered a disturbance call at a saloon and attempted to calm a boisterous patron. The suspect pulled out a handgun and shot Constable Becker four times. Marshal Miller was shot once in the foot but survived. Constable Becker died of his wounds seven days later. The suspect was tried in a court of law and sentenced to life in prison.
