Description: Deputy Samuel Brown was shot and killed as he and the Sheriff attempted to arrest a suspected thief. As the suspect was being handcuffed, he gained control of the Sheriff's gun and fatally shot Deputy Brown. The suspect was convicted of murder and sentenced to 99 years in prison.
