Description: Deputy City Marshal Blundell was shot and killed as he attempted to arrest a suspect for disturbing the peace. The suspect was threatening another man who the suspect claimed was paying too much attention to his wife. Deputy Blundell was shot twice in the chest with a double-barreled shotgun as he approached the residence. The suspect was charged with manslaughter.
