Description: Officer Bandy and two other officers were following a van wanted in connection with an abduction earlier that day. The suspects in van opened fire on both cruisers, striking all three officers. Officer Bandy was shot twice in the head with an assault rifle. Officer Todd was injured critically and Officer Childs was treated and released.
