Description: Patrolman Boynton was en route to work patrol on a public bus. A 16 year old boarded the bus, held a pistol to the driver's head and demanded money. Patrolman Boynton struggled with the youth. They fell out of the bus and onto the street, at which point Patrolman Boynton's head struck the curb and he was stunned . The youth shot Patrolman Boynton three times. Patrolman Boynton succumbed to his injuries five days later.
