Description: Special Agent Byrne, on assignment from the Houston, Texas field office, was abducted, beaten and robbed while on his way to his hotel room after a conference in New Orleans. Agent Byrne was found 40 blocks from where he was last seen. Agent Byrne was transported to the hospital where he died two days later.
