Description: Officer Brannigan responded to a prison alarm where several inmates were fighting on the second floor. Officer Brannigan ran up to the second floor and collapsed approximately fifty feet from the incident. Fellow officers administered CPR until emergency crews arrived. Officer Brannigan was transported to the prison medical facility where he was pronounced dead.
