Description: Inspector Barnes collapsed following physical training due to hyperthermia. Inspector Barnes was participating in a strength and endurance test, which included sprinting, pushups, sit ups and a 1.5 mile run. The test was done in intervals with water breaks in between. Inspector Barnes suffered heat stroke and was transported to the hospital. Inspector Barnes experienced kidney failure and died due to cardiac arrest.
