Description: Officer Blando was shot and killed while investigating auto thefts outside a local hotel. While checking out a particular vehicle where the license plates had been reported stolen, Officer Blando approached the suspect's vehicle. The suspect opened fire on Officer Blando, striking him the chest. Officer Blando died while being transported to a local hospital. The suspect was arrested.
