Description: Constable Ball was shot when he answered a disturbance call at a dance hall. The suspect pulled a pistol and shot Constable Ball three times in the abdomen. Constable Ball returned fire, killing the suspect. Constable Ball was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
