Description: Deputy Marshal Byrd was killed in Kentucky while trying to arrest a moonshiner. Marshal Byrd arrested a suspect and was transporting him to Jackson, KY when he was intercepted by the suspect's relatives. The suspect's family managed to free the suspect and fatally shoot Marshal Byrd.
