Description: Police Officer Beasley was shot and killed when he ordered a man to stop obstructing the sidewalk in accordance with the city ordinance. The man refused and an argument ensued. Officer Beasley utilized his billy club and struck the man. The man left the scene and returned with a pistol, continued arguing with Officer Beasley and then shot him. The man was convicted of murder and executed by hanging.
