Description: Chief Burkett suffered a fatal heart after placing three intoxicated suspects under arrest. Chief Burkett was called from his home to the scene of an accident. When Chief Burkett arrived at the accident scene, he found three intoxicated suspects arguing. Chief Burkett called for back-up and attempted to separate the suspects. While attempting to arrest the suspects, Chief Burkett was assaulted. Responding officers arrived and assisted Chief Burkett arrest the suspects and place them into custody. After the arrest, Chief Burkett returned home and suffered a fatal heart attack.
