Description: Deputy Beebe suffered a fatal heart attack while responding to a suicide attempt in Abingdon, Maryland. When Deputy Beebe collapsed behind the wheel of the patrol car, the vehicle left the roadway, went down an 180-foot embankment, and landed in a stream. Deputy Beebe was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries the following morning.
