Description: Constable Buffington was off duty at the time of his death. He was shot by suspect whom he arrested for public drunkeness a few days earlier. Suspect came to constable's home and called him outside. When Constable Buffington came out, the suspect shot him in the abdomen. Constable Buffington died that evening at a local hospital.
